What types of structural steel projects do you handle?
We fabricate custom structural steel components for commercial and residential projects — columns, beams, connections, brackets, framing, and miscellaneous metals (CSI Division 05). We handle in-shop fabrication and can support on-site work. Maximum project size is $100,000.
Are you union or non-union?
We are a non-union shop. This gives general contractors more flexibility, especially on mixed or mid-size projects where union-only requirements don't apply. We've worked alongside both union and non-union crews throughout our history.
What CSI codes do you cover?
Our primary coverage spans Division 01 (General Requirements — Construction Aids, Temporary Cranes) and Division 05 (Metals — Structural Steel Framing, Metal Fabrications, Maintenance of Metals). Lead times depend on the scope, complexity, and our current workload. We provide realistic timelines upfront — we don't overpromise. For most commercial steel projects, call us early in the planning process to discuss scheduling.
Do you offer on-site welding in addition to in-shop fabrication?
Yes. We provide both in-shop fabrication (components built in our Peekskill facility and delivered to your job site) and on-site welding and repair services. For structural repairs and modifications to existing steel, on-site work is often the right approach.
What is your service area for commercial projects?
We serve Westchester County, Putnam County, Rockland County, Dutchess County, New York City (all boroughs), and Long Island. For projects at the edges of our range, call to discuss — we evaluate larger-scope commercial work on a case-by-case basis.
Can you provide material certifications and mill certs?
Yes. For projects requiring material documentation, we can provide mill certifications for the steel used in your project. Discuss your documentation requirements during the quoting process.
